It was reported April 1st that Toyota sales went UP during the month of March.
In the heart of a recall, one that got no support from the press mind you, Toyota managed to increase sales by 35.3% for the same period as last year. This is a ridiculous testament to the reliability of the brand and the loyalty of its customers.

Even though the crisis management was less than impressive, and Toyota’s response to the issues were slow and somewhat sketchy at the beginning, the brand has pulled through.

This is good news but also strange. Im not fully informed about the entire Toyota recall and the implications of the entire ordeal but from a PR/Marketing perspective I can understand how troublesome the entire thing can be. Im glad to hear Toyota can remain on top. I’ve always been a firm believer that Toyota has been a good company making quality products. I can understand how mistakes can be made. But shouldn’t be expected from such a power company. I just recently bought a Toyota. hopefully it doesnt kill me.
